The Digital Chemistry master's program at the Faculty of Chemistry University of Gdańsk is a two-year, full-time specialization aimed at training the next generation of computational and theoretical chemists.

It was first launched in October 2022 and is conducted entirely in English. The curriculum covers a wide range of modern techniques, including quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, cheminformatics, exploratory data analysis, machine learning, and advanced programming in Python and R.

Students gain hands-on experience in computational modeling, simulations, and data-driven chemistry research, preparing them to solve complex chemical problems using digital tools. The program includes both mandatory and elective courses, as well as MSc laboratory work, seminars, and monographic lectures on specialized topics.

Graduates are well-equipped to pursue careers in research, academia, and industry, particularly in fields where computational chemistry, data science, and modern cheminformatics play a crucial role. The program is designed to prepare students for employment in pharmaceutical, chemical, and technological industries, as well as public institutions and research organizations.

Next intake: October 2025
Application deadline: July 2025
